The Week Thus Far It's sad to admit that we didn't make it through one day before losing out on our goal of a Daily Blog. So here I am, writing the blog for the kids again. While I am not into making excuses, I will tell you the reason. We were printing off our Southern Research paper! So that is very exciting. Students all knew that the paper was due today and most came through with flying colors! It was very exciting to see the end result of this hard work. Tomorrow, I will be introducing a the guidelines to the presentations and I loaded a wonderful example for you all to watch below. When I told the kids today, I showed a short Prezi. Please feel free to watch and enjoy. I know that this last quarter at Waubesa will be extremely memorable. Today I sent home 3rd Quarter progress reports. These reports at not official grades, but a representation of what a report card would look like if they were sent out today. If your child does not show you a progress report, I would be happy to send them to you, I scanned them all into the computer. Have a great and safe spring break! I'll see everyone in April! Mr. N. We seem to be running out of time more and more these days! Tonight's practice is:

Please view the Glogs we made on the Southern United States! A Glog is an online poster that we can use to present our information and share our thoughts. It is a very cool, and interactive way to share in learning. Friday, each group will be sharing in their specific learning Glogs.

I will add them soon. Mr. N. Well, we ran out of time at the end of the day, so the readers of our blog our stuck with me, again. Hopefully I can fill you all in with some wonderful insight that you will feel prepared for another fantastic day. Today, our class did a better job with call-outs and transitions. As a result, when picking Bucky Bucks, Claire picked a 50! Taking our classroom total to a whopping 495! We will have to schedule a time pretty soon to spend some of that money! Great job everyone. Tonight there is not a lot of practice; just a lot of studying. We have two tests coming up later this week. Wednesday we will be starting the Unit 5 Math Test. This is on fractions and some of us need extra time studying! I sent home a review guide for everyone today and will scan it shortly and load to to both this blog and the printable practice. We also have a Social Studies test on the East Coast (American Revolution) that will be this Thursday. The review guide and essay questions both went home today and are loaded to the printable practice page. Check it out and use the East Coast notes to help you! This should be an easy test if you spend time doing these things. Have a great night! See the calendar for some events coming up! :-) Mr. N.
Can you believe that it is this cold outside? Sometimes it makes you wish we lived in a warmer climate. I think that the cold helps us appreciate the warmer times of the year. I loaded some of the pictures from yesterdays spelling bee. Also next week is the American Revolution (East Coast) Test, why not start your studying early? Watch the video to help you get ready. Also, as a bonus for those who check the site, I loaded the Study Guide and the essay questions! Enjoy and Happy Studying! Mr. Northouse
